B got laid off this morning. We don't know for how long - if it's temporary or what. All we know is that for now he's out of a job. Emotions and thoughts run wild at the moment - it's been a long challenging day.
I know that God has a plan and that He has promised to provide for us. Right now that's all I know.

We are building on to his house - hoping to move before the holidays roll around. I was born and brought up in Africa - as an MK and would love to one day go back at least for a visit.

Mary is right - stay calm. I am praying too. Something good is going to happen, Edith. God has reasons, and plans.
And right now that's a good place to start, at the Rock. I'm going to be praying for you guys, and can't wait to hear what God has in store for both of you.
Sending good thoughts your way. I'll never understand why bad things happen to good people. Both of my sons survived the round of layoffs where they work but my son-in-law did not. I really think things will turn around quickly after the election. Hang in there.
